Do you ever find that when you're in a crucial situation, you always think of the worst case scenario? I sadly do this from time to time. I later ask myself, "why do you do this?" This only causes pain, reinforces negative thinking, and builds up more barriers to overcoming my fears. Any logical person could see that the obvious solution is to simply stop. Think positive thoughts. Expect the good, not the bad. Yet this is so hard. I think I personally do this because I don't want to get my hopes up only for them to get knocked down. To want something so bad, and see it not come to fruition is so painful, but there is something that's worse. That is always expecting bad things to happen and never having anything to look forward to.

Walking around with this mentality ultimately holds one back from even attempting to reach his/her full potential. Yes bad things happen, but so do good things! No one's life is 100% perfect. We all go through highs and lows through this journey called life. Even when things don't go your way, remember if you're blessed to see tomorrow, it's a new opportunity to grow. Don't let past mistakes hold you back. Whenever you find yourself thinking "I can't," or "I'm not good enough," check yourself. 

The mind is powerful and how you think can completely change your reaction to the situation and the outcome. Breathe, relax, everything is going to be fine. Life can be tough and when crucial moments come, it's time to show up and show out, not back down and give in to fear and negativity. You were not made to walk through this life, and accomplish nothing. Great things are in your in store for your future, but you have to believe it's possible. Claim it and don't let anyone or anything try and stop you!
